Hello and welcome to the official opening of the BakaDev Web Development site! For those who don’t know, my name is Travis and I am the lead developer and owner of BakaDev. We are a small web firm in Charlotte, NC. You can read more about “who we are” but here in my little area I plan to share a lot more with you than just BakaDev-related news. All of the fancy-shmancy stuff can be located elsewhere within the site, but here in my blog we’ll talk about web tips, how-tos, and tech!

So – just a quick background on me: I’m recently married as of May 21, 2010. I’ve been doing web design and development for 7yrs now. So I can be found behind a computer screen about 10-12hrs a day slaving away at code. Those rare times I pull myself away from the computer I can be found riding my motorcycle. I currently own a 2006 Suzuki M109r. I enjoy just riding around through the outskirts of town taking in the scenery – things you miss when you’re driving a car.
