Who We AreHow we got started and who’s to blame

BakaDev is founded by Travis Wilson, a front-end web developer with 7+ years experience in several facets of IT and web-related content. He began his freelance career in 2007, after he learned that so many no-name companies and individuals were out there charging small businesses thousands of dollars for below-par websites. The quality of work was not professional and the service was even worse. This realization led him to found BakaDev and promote that you don’t have to spend a lot for good quality web development. Travis is still the primary developer and lead in all projects and available to both current and potential clients.

We’re a small firm, primarily working with local small businesses and individuals within the Charlotte & surrounding areas. Our goal is to make sure you are satisfied before a job is complete. We are honest and upfront, if we believe that we are not capable of a job then we’ll tell you upfront – with that being said we don’t try to take on every job that comes our way. We evaluate the needs and wants of the client then decide if we are best suited for the job; if not we try to make recommendations and free consultation.
